Totalnetqc versus corporate hosting

PDF Print E-mail

There are many ways to host your website out there. Here, I show you the advantages of hosting with Totalnetqc over hosting with the big guys.

One of the main reasons that a big hosting company can host thousands of websites is because it delegates all the work to its customers. For the customer, this means:

  • Setting up your domain to point to its server
  • setting up your email box or boxes
  • uploading your web pages to the server
This can be a convoluted and time consuming process that usually involves:
  • accessing the login page
  • logging in with your user name and password
  • navigating a control panel
  • getting a program to upload your web pages
Note: the above procedure has to be done for the domain registrar and the website host. If you run into trouble along the way, you have to:
  • call the help desk and go through the whole call message procedure, or
  • send an email and wait for the response, which can take days depending on the company, or
  • fill out a tedious form and then wait for ticket confirmation

Totalnetqc is a small hosting company. For the customer, this means:

TOTALNETQC TAKES CARE OF EVERYTHING!

Most of my hosting clients have their websites designed by Totalnetqc, so everything to do with your website is directed through Totalnetqc, instead of two or three different companies.

Web Server

The web server hardware is a multi-processor Xeon machine with gigs of RAM and hardware RAID-10 SCSI arrays. The server sits in a secured, multi-homed data center.
