Programming

There are two categories of programming that can be used with your web site. These are client-side and server-side programming. Client-side programming almost always involves JavaScript, a scripting language that is embedded in your html page for enhancing the control of your browser. Note that a browser (ie., Firefox, Internet Explorer) are client-side programs that allow you to interact with a server. Server-side programming gives your web site the power to deliver more than static web pages. A server-side program acts in many cases as a liaison between your front-end html page and a back-end database, which holds all your data. A server-side program and a database are at the heart of a dynamic web site. Totalnetqc uses PHP for creating sophisticated, dynamic web sites.

Totalnetqc uses MySQL or PostgreSQL, both opensource databases.
